I just received a very nice email from a regular client of mine in the webcast side of the business. I work as an operator for him on gigs external to the educational facility he is the manager of webcast and lecture capture services for.
We has a somewhat problematic event a couple of weeks ago that turned out well enough but was difficult from a planning perspective. I’ll include some of the Lessons Learned in my ongoing Open Letter series but wanted to bask in the glory of a satisfied client.
“Shaun was wonderful to work with and the videos online turned out well. We actually had 195 hits on the website on the day of the event, so lots of people took the opportunity to tune in to watch the cooking demonstrations!”
The interesting thing is that it took a total of 6 clicks to FIND the live webcasts on the event web page so I’m absolutely amazed by the traffic. One of the things to remember with any promotion is to make it easy for people to find it so there was obviously a lot of interest in this Healthy Living conference.
